Thank you so much Bre for working with me on when to ship my tree. I am sorry that my travel schedule was so hectic for the last few months. The tree arrived perfectly packaged and was planted after 4 hours of soaking just as instructed. I even named him Little Bob as he is cute and small. Thanks again.
I was very pleased how well the tree looked when I took it out of the box. Excited to see it grow. Especially can't wait for the leaves in the fall.
Tree arrived well packaged and the roots wrapped in paper and wet gels. I hope to see how this oak will respond to my Sierra foothill location. Especially want to see the red fall color of the leaves. I’m optimistic.
Three scarlet oaks came in packing box very carefully packaged and roots were still moist in the medium. The larger one and medium one had roots on them that looked sufficient. But one came that had about 5 mm length roots, and about four to five roots growing from the stem--struck me as very iffy. I am a NCSU Master Gardener and not satisfied with the third specimen. Will call company to complain about its size. Also wish the tree had come with the correct horticultural name, like Quercus coccinea, not just red scarlett oak. The delivery of the package was flawless.
