Product Description

White Mulberry Trees (Morus Alba) are native to Asia, the middle east, and the eastern half of North America. Mulberries are generally eaten fresh, but also can be made into jelly or syrups for flavoring ice creams, yogurts, or cakes. This is a rapid grower, typically from 15 to 50 feet, depending on variety. Mulberry trees are often referred to as blackberry trees because the fruits resemble long, slender blackberries. They are a small variety, just a few centimeters long, and far sweeter than the black and red mulberries. The flavor is much like a blackberry, but has its own exotic taste. The White Mulberry tree can have either male or female flowers, or a combination of the two, so we highly recommend planting more than one tree to ensure pollination and fruit production.

White Mullberries

Our trees arrived in good shape. Just waiting for the trees to start having leaves. Will let you know when that happens.

Excellent product and service

So happy to have found Green Thumbs Gardens. Was searching for just the right fruit trees. GTG had them in stock and shipped them as promised. A wonderful value too!

Healthy trees!

I ordered a few of these white mulberry trees and they came extremely well packaged, just as described. They were the right height, pruned perfectly. This was my first time ordering from green thumbs garden and I would not hesitate to order from them again. Very reasonable shipping too.

Met expectations.

Delivery was quite fast with great e-mail updates of the status. The 4-5ft. tree sapling came packed well in a long cardboard box with it's roots in moist newspaper shreds and a taped up sheet of paper over it all and then in a plastic bag. I carefully unwrapped it and the roots looked very healthy. I have not had time yet to plant it to it's intended location so I temporarily potted it up. It has not leafed out yet. I plan to plant this Mulberry in Espalier form in my "Fruit and Berry-Garden" for fruit production for my family. I also had purchased a flowering shrub with it and both looked what I had expected. Yes, I will order from Green Thumbs Garden again.
I give it a thumbs up!
