American Hazelnut Tree (Filbert)
IT CAME AND I SOAKED IT IN WATER A FEW DAYS IT HAD IT'S PROBLEMS BUT LOOKS LIKE IT WILL RECOVER. AFTER PLANTING IT IN A POT. THE BROKEN BRANCHES HAVE FALLEN OFF AND THE WILTED LEAVES ARE GONE.....I'M KEEPING MY LEGGS CROSSED IT WILL GROW. IT LOOKS LIKE MY OTHER PLANT THAT I HAVE HAD IN A POT FOR 2 YEARS
The trees were obviously in good shape when they were shipped, but they spent a whole week in shipping. They got to my house dried out with dry, mostly shriveled up leaves. I planted them immediately. Now, a week later, they are still alive (scatch test). One looks like it's making a full recovery. One has two main trucks, one if which is dead according to the scratch test, and one that is alive and has a few viable leaves. The third tree is alive according to the scratch test but it doesn't look like any of the leaves are viable. I don't know if it will survive. The company has been nice about keeping in touch with me about them. It is not their fault the trees arrived in bad condition. There is a shipping slowdown. I hope they will all survive. They are nice trees
Very nicely packaged plants. Height was exactly as ordered. Healthy plants. Very impressed with the care that was put into packaging. Will definitely order from this nursery gain.
Arrived in good shape. Waiting for spring
All and all the plants seem to be fine , will see, just that I have to make sure there still in that kind of shape 4 or 5 months from now till they can get planted and if they grow , like I said will see
